Dr Botanicals Moroccan Rose and Shea Butter Body Cream

Love it or hate it, you can't get away from the Valentine's hype. It's not going anywhere, folks.

Although I'm not particularly interested in the day itself, I will take any excuse to dress up and go out for food with my other half.

For special occasions, I do like to pamper myself. It might for one of my closest girl pals birthday night outs or a date with my boyfriend, whatever it is, I do like to spend a little longer getting ready and enjoy a good old pamper. What's a better way to pamper yourself with then a luxurious body cream?!
The body cream I'm talking about is the Dr Botanicals Moroccan Rose and Shea Butter Body Cream.

I've raved about Dr Botanicals before in my Dr Botanicals  Japanese Orange Range Review, I loved the items from the Japanese Range so I was pretty confident that the Moroccan Rose and Shea Butter Body Cream would also hit the mark.

Before we start on the cream, let's talk about Dr Botanicals. The range is 100% natural, paraben and harmful preservative free, as they believe that oil and plant extracts can make a genuine difference to our skin. Their products are also not tested on animals.

The first thing that hits you when it comes to the cream is the scent. It's floral but quite subtle. It slightly lingers on the skin after it's been applied and it's soaked in, which is a nice touch to have in a body cream. It's a really pretty scent which makes it a pleasure to use.

The Moroccan Rose and Shea Butter Body Cream aims to keep the skin soft and hydrated. The main ingredients in this product are:

1. Moroccan Rose Oil - aims to firm and hydrate the skin.
2. Shea Butter - contains high levels of Vitamin A, E & F which aims to protect, soothe and rejuvenate the skin.
3. Apricot Kernel Oil - a strong source of Vitamins A & E which deeply moisturises and nourishes the skin.

With all these ingredients, it's easy to say that my skin feels amazing after using it. The Winter months have been tough on my skin and I do struggle from dry skin, but this cream has really improved it, making it feel hydrated and silkier than ever. The cream is luxurious. It has a beautiful feel to it and I'm really pleased with how my skin feels after using it.

Overall, I'm really happy with this body cream. Sometimes I can be a little lazy when it comes to moisturising, but seeing the positive effects of this product has given me an extra push to ensure I keep up with my routine and look after my skin!
