Sugar Baby is an Australian brand, yet they are probably stocked in your local Superdrug. Inspired by the beach, Sugar Baby sell a variety of different products from bath and body to bronzing products. When I had the chance to collaborate with them on their Vita + Skin range, I was so excited to try their products out! Let's see how I go on, shall we....
After reading various body scrub reviews on blogs recently, it seems like they are very much 'in'. When I had the chance to collaborate with Sugar Crush and they were sending me some goodies from their range I was extremely excited to see the Sugar C-Rush, Coconut and Raw Sugar Exfoliating Body Scrub in the parcel.
Let's start by saying how utterly Instagrammable the body scrub is. The packaging is gorgeous and I love how it's resealable. Sometimes products in packets can become so messy, so it's nice that it can easily store the product away between uses.
The first thing you notice when you open the body scrub is the smell. I can't even describe how nice it is! Obviously as one of the main ingredients is coconut, it does have a strong coconut scent, but it's also quite sweet and smells lovely on the skin.
The body scrub aims to tighten, tone and reveal. All the ingredients inside have their own specific uses, for example, the raw sugar acts as a mild exfoliator to remove dead skin cells, leaving you with soft skin whilst the Himalayan Sea salt acts as a second exfoliator to polish and perfect your skin. Finally, we have the Coconut Oil acting as a moisturiser.
I have been obsessed with this ever since I first used it. It's easier and best (I think) to use this when I'm showering, I gently heat the product up in my hands and apply all over my body in a circular motion. I then leave it on the skin for a few moments then wash off. My skin is left feeling incredibly soft and smooth. The smell of the product also lingers on the skin throughout the day, which I absolutely love. I couldn't rate this product high enough.
I'm not usually one to use hair treatment. Previously I was just a shampoo, conditioner and a little bit of hair oil if I'm feeling like it kind of gal. However, I feel like I've been seriously missing out when I tried this hair treatment.
Once again, the packaging is really great, with a screw on cap to safely store in between uses. The main ingredient in the hair treatment is once again, coconut. Obviously, if you're not a fan of the smell of coconut (which I know many people aren't) then this product may not be for you as this product once again has a strong coconut scent.
The Hair Affair Hydrating Coconut is such a luxurious product. Firstly, I wash my hair, then run the hair treatment thoroughly through, from the roots to the ends and gently massage it in. I left my treatment in for 10 minutes however, you can leave it in for less time if you desire.
After I washed off the treatment, I can't even explain how good my hair felt. I have quite dry hair due to many bleaching and dying incidents in my past, therefore I'm always looking for new ways to improve the condition and make myself feel happier with my hair. The hair treatment leaves my hair feeling ridiculously soft. It's hydrating and nourishing and improves the dryness of my hair. With Organic Coconut Water, Natural Oils, Shea Butter and Aloe Vera, the product also helps protect the hair from any damage.
Finally, we have the Hydrating Coconut Body Oil, with once again, like the name suggests coconut is the main component.
I can't say I've used a body oil before, as it's not something I was particularly interested in or felt that it had many benefits, However, I feel like my mind is starting to change.
The product has multi-uses and you can use it for your hair, body face and even your nails! Although I haven't tried all the uses out for this product yet, I have used it several times on my body. I'm not afraid to admit that the first time I used this I used far too much product and I really struggled to wash it off! However, the second time I got it down and I really felt the benefits.
My legs are particularly dry, therefore I paid special attention to them. With natural coconut oil, the product sinks into the skin and deeply moisturises the skin leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth. I couldn't be happier with this product and I will definitely keep using it on my skin, as well as other areas to ensure I get all the benefits.
All the Sugar Baby Vita + Skin range are available at Superdrug, however, feel free to visit their website for more information (here). All of the range is also cruelty-free which gives it, of course, a massive thumbs up.
Have you tried any of these products before?
