BEAUTY | My Favourite Summer Lipsticks

There's no doubt about it, if I could wear one makeup item for the rest of my life it would be lipstick. With thousands of shades and different finishes, lipstick just finish a look off. During the summer I try my best to move away from wine and berry shades, alongside various other dark lipsticks I own and try and wear brighter, summer shades. Here's a few of my favourite summer lipsticks...

Topshop - All About Me (£8)
I first wrote about this lipstick many moons ago when I first started blogging and after a couple of repurchases, it still remains on of my favourite summer lipsticks. If there's one way I can describe this lipstick, it's bright! It's a vibrant and bold hot pink colour and although I found it quite daring for me when I first purchased, I've fallen in love with the colour and the formula. It's has a creamy, satin matte finish and is extremely long lasting which is perfect for the long Summer days!

MAC - Velvet Teddy (£15.50)
All I can say about this lipstick is that it is a perfect nude. I can't think of a better lipstick to wear for the day time in the Summer as the light, creamy formula glides on to the lips. This lipstick is simply iconic and a much loved and raved about product thanks to Kylie Jenner. It's a deep tone beige colour with a matte finish.
Rimmel's Kate Moss -110 (£5.49)
This lipstick has been a favourite of mine for a long time. I can't fault the Kate Moss lipsticks in quality and affordability and this shade is just the cherry on top. It's a gorgeous, coral shade and once again it's a bright and vibrant shade that is great for the summer months. I could rave about the Kate Moss lipsticks all day as I think the formula rivals high end lipstick due to the gorgeous finish, longevity and its hydrating formula.
Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet - Don't Pink of It (£8.99)
I raved about this lipstick not too long ago (read the blog post here) and it's still a firm favourite of mine. It's a perfect nude-y pink colour and once again, it' great for everyday wear especially in the summer. There's so many things I love about this product, it has a precise applicator, leaves a velvety finish and it is a non-drying formula. It really does have a powder, velvet feel to it once it has dried and it has amazing lasting power.
Maybelline Colour Drama Lip Pencil - 210 Keep It Classy
Apologies for the photo of this one, as you can see it's a much loved product! I need to pick up another one very soon. This is another product I've raved about in the past, not just for the colour, but the formula of the lip pencil too (see full review here). Keep It Classy is a plum colour and some might say a more Autumn colour, however I've been wearing it a lot this Summer and it's great for a warm evening out as it makes any outfit pop. Not only does it have a beautiful creamy formula, but it's long lasting and extremely pigmented.
Estee Lauder - Coral Tangerine (£18.90)
My most recent purchase is a gorgeous coral shade by Estee Lauder. I've raved about this beauty enough already (see full review here), so I'll keep it short and sweet. The colour speaks for itself with this one, therefore I don't really have to sell it to you. A bold and vibrant coral/orange shade is a must for summer and this one is perfect.
