BEAUTY | Estée Lauder 'Coral Tangerine' Review

If someone would have suggested an orange lipstick to me a couple of weeks ago, I would probably have not taken them very seriously and just gone for my usual dark berry lips instead. However, having the chance to review an item from Beautyspin and seeing this gorgeous Estée Lauder lipstick available online in the shade 'Coral Tangerine' I knew it might just be the lipstick to change my mind....
First things first, how gorgeous is the packaging?! It's such an instagrammable lipstick with its sleek gold packaging and it's already received a lot of love on Instagram (here). The case feels slightly vintage and it does remind me of the packaging of my grans lipstick, but I think that makes me love it even more. It's got the signature EL initials on the end and I've never felt so classy owning a lipstick before!

I've never owned everything from Estée Lauder before and it's not because I didn't want to, I've heard so many amazing things about this brand and I've seen so many rave reviews, but I've never had the chance to. Therefore, I was so excited to try this out!

Like I've already mentioned, I went for the shade 'Coral Tangerine'. This shade is pure orange and slightly intimidating to the eye when I first saw it, I thought 'how the hell can I pull this colour off?!' It's bright and in your face and I wasn't sure if this would suit me at all. However, after wearing it for a short period of time, my mind quickly changed and I fell in love with it.

This lipstick is not quite matte as it has a shiny finish, however due to this it's a really hydrating and it does not dry out my lips in the slightest.  The creamy formula has amazing staying power and only fades slightly throughout the day. It's such a summer-y colour and I've been wearing it lots recently during the hot and sunny weather (not so much during the torrential rain Manchester has been having the last few days!) as it's a perfect colour and formula for Summer.

Overall, I couldn't be happier with this lipstick. It's 100% changed my mind about orange shades and I'm going to try and not shy away from other colors that are out of my comfort zone in the future. Estée Lauder All-Day Lipstick in ' Coral Tangerine' is a game changer for me. Not only in the colour gorgeous, but the formula is perfect. I feel like this beauty will be making a more than welcomed appearance several times this Summer!
