Recently we have experienced one of the warmest days we've had all year. The sun was out shining and the weather was gorgeous. We had a little wander out on Sunday afternoon in the centre of Manchester and came across a sweet craft and food market in the Northern Quarter..
As we wandered around we came across so many lovely food stores and I couldn't help but stop as this adorable ice cream van. There was some unique ice cream flavours to choose from, but I ended up sampling the Winter Berry Crumble. It didn't last long!
It was a really nice afternoon wandering around the rest of the market and trying lots of food samples! I also managed to pick a couple of gifts up for my mums birthday from some of the craft stalls. I picked up a handmade black raspberry and vanilla candle from the Naked Candle Co - which smelt delicious. I was so tempted to pick one up for myself.
We also couldn't resist but to pick up a hazelnut chocolate cheesecake to get stuck into when we got home. I'm not afraid to admit that it was the best cheesecake I've ever eaten!
The Makers Market is around Manchester every weekend for the next few months, but it will be in the Northern Quarter the second Sunday of every month and in Spinningfields the third Saturday and Sunday of every month. Click HERE if you want to see where else the Market will be popping up.
Have you been to this market recently?
