If there's one time of year that I love to have a shimmery glow on my cheeks, it's this time of year. A healthy glow is a perfect look for Spring/Summer and there's no better way to achieve it than with Seventeen's Instant Glow Shimmer Brick...
I feel like Seventeen is a brand that can be overlooked when it comes to buying new make up products. As a brand, it is on the cheaper side compared to others, but I personally think that the quality is just as good and there always seem to be new and exciting releases from them.
I was desperate for a new bronzer after dropping and smashing my Elf powder to bits, so I headed straight to the Seventeen counter to see what they had to offer. I fell in love with this Shimmer Brick as soon as I saw it.
The Seventeen Instant Glow Shimmer Brick comes in two lovely shades - Pink Bronze or the one I went for which is Gold Bronze. However, both shades are absolutely gorgeous! The Shimmer Brick has four shades ranging from a light champagne colour to a chocolate brown with the aim to give your cheeks a golden glow.
It's up to you whether you want to use the colours individually or mix all four together. Whether you want to dust the bronzer lightly all over your face or just on to your cheeks. Whatever you want to do, the powder will make it work and give you a lovely golden finish. The shades are extremely pigmented for the price and due to this you can build the colours up on your cheeks for more of a dramatic look or just lightly dust on the powder.
The powder is soft and applies effortlessly to the cheeks - it's a pleasure to use. There are so many great qualities to this product and it can be used a few different ways. The lighter shade I have used as a high lighter on the top of my cheekbones to give them a radiant glow. The other colours can easily be used as eye shadow, I haven't had the chance to try this out yet, but I think the copper colour would look lovely once applied.
Overall, this product is such good value you for money. The colours are gorgeous, it is beautifully pigmented and there's a few ways that you can use it.
