This year I am very excited to carry on working with Born Pretty. If you're not familiar with Born Pretty, they sell all your beauty needs and more. From nail art and cosmetics to phone cases and jewellery - Born Pretty sells a wide range of affordable beauty items and accessories...
I had the chance to try out 4 of their lipsticks (here). They are described as a lip gloss, but I would definitely say they're more of a matte lip pencil than anything else. The formula is creamy and really easy to apply to the lips. When it is applied it honestly looks like velvet, I really love the formula of this and the way it looks on the lips. The lipstick is long lasting also which is obviously what you want when wearing a lipstick, it does come off a little easier when eating and drinking then some of my other lipsticks do, but has a good 2-3 hours before needing to reapply it to the lips.
I tried out 4 colours, they don't have names however, just numbers. I tried out 13, 14, 15 and 16. Can I start by saying that this colours are so pigmented that it surprised me. Due to the price ($1.99) each, I didn't expect them to be as pigmented as they are or such good quality.
My favourite of the colours is number 13, a vibrant and bold red. It's such a beautiful colour and I've been wearing it a lot around Christmas for the festivities. Number 14 is a hot pink colour which I'm looking forward to wearing in the Summer. It's a bright, fun pink. Number 15 is a beautiful nude colour and number 16 is another pink, which is not as bright as 14 but is more of a nudey pink.
Like I mentioned before, I am really impressed with these Born Pretty Lipsticks. The colours are so pigmented and pencil element makes it so easy to apply. For $1.99 each you can't go wrong really!
I also have a discount code if anyone fancies picking up these beauties - you can get 10% of your purchase with the code:
