Benefit Play Sticks Foundation

I'm one of those people who cannot stick to one foundation. I may absolutely fall in love with a foundation - it might be perfect in every single way, but I will still find the need to shop around and see what other foundations take my fancy. This time it was the Benefit Play Sticks Foundation....
I didn't want to pick this up originally, I had a quick glance at the Benefit counter, completely discarded it and made my way towards the Rimmel section instead. Somehow I ended up back at the Benefit counter and getting a mini makeover - I'm not quite sure how this happened, but I was not going to question it.

As I'm a big fan of Benefits Hello Flawless, I knew that I didn't want to try this out again, this is when the lovely lady introduced me to the Benefit Play Sticks.
The Benefit Play Sticks is a cream to powder foundation stick that helps promote a healthy complexion while giving natural-looking coverage. It also describes itself as a 3-in-1 product being a concealer, foundation and powder.

As you can see, it comes in the form of a stick, which admittedly I was unsure of as I wasn't sure how it would blend. However, the formula is really blendable and offers really good coverage. You just scribble a few bits on your face and blend using your foundation brush. The Benefit website does mention blending with your fingers, but I think it's much more effective to use your brush.

The Play Sticks are really creamy in formula and leaves a satin-matte finish. I also find it leaves a small amount of dewiness which I love for the winter time. I always look for this when I'm buying a new foundation as I find it brightens up my face.

I have been really enjoying using this foundation recently as I find the shade is perfect. At the moment, the Play Sticks don't offer much variety in terms of shades available, as currently there are only three - there may not be something for everyone with this foundation.

Although I do love this foundation - it's not totally won me over just yet. I'm not quite convinced by the stick aspect and I would prefer a liquid foundation. I sometimes find that it is a bit too thick for everday wear, although I do think it's perfect for a night out. Saying that due to it's price, I won't be repurchasing.

This is currently on offer on Feel Unique for £23.60 - buy it here

Have you tried this foundation before?
