Although I wouldn't class myself as a 'beauty blogger' I like writing about beauty a lot. But no matter how much I enjoy writing about beauty, there's still a lot of beauty things I'm terrible at...
1. Contouring. I don't know where to start with this. I have tried this a lot in the past with different products to get the best Kim Kardashian contouring look I can, but it never looks quite right. I never know if I've done it properly or if it looks messy and therefore, end up leaving it out of my makeup routine most of the time.
2. Shaking things up.
Whether it be for work or a big night out, my makeup is pretty much the same, but heavier for different occasions. I like trying out lots of different products but at the end of the day, it's winged eyeliner and bold lipstick. Never any eye shadow or any different looks. It's a mixture of me not wanting to step outside my comfort zone and my makeup skills not being up to par.
This is my worst one by far. Once again, I try lots of skin care products, but I've never had a skincare routine. The problem is here is that I'm lazy. I live on the top floor of my house so going to the bathroom to do a skincare routine is a pretty big effort to me, like I said lazy. I really want to take more care of my skin. I drink lots of water and use Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and assume my skin will be fine..
4. Taking off my nail varnish.
I used to be terrible at this and would leave chipped nail varnish on for days, purely because I hated using nail varnish remover and the smell used to make me feel sick. It was a lot of effort and most of the time I would just pick it off slowly or paint over the top of it. Now I have Bourjois Magic Nail Varnish Remover, I am a lot better at looking after my nails. Although, as I type this I see a few chips on them and I have no desire to do anything about it.
Do you agree with any of these? What beauty things are you bad at?
