MAX FACTOR CREME PUFF BLUSH | LAVISH MAUVE

I've read so many reviews about this little beauty recently and when I popped into Boots last week I knew that I had to pick Max Factors Creme Puff Blush up. I said in a recent post that blusher is one of the things I normally neglect in my daily makeup routine and I rarely play around with different colours, however after going to and having a little makeover at a beauty counter the lady talked my through some blushers, how to apply them and how much they make a difference to your face. It sounds strange saying I didn't know how to apply blusher, but I just didn't know how to apply it in the most effective way.
Anyway, I read a lot of reviews about these blushers and they sounded fantastic. There was such a wide range of colours to choose from it was so hard to pick up just the one and not come away with them all. There are six shades in total and I ended up choosing Lavish Mauve

This baked blusher has multi-tonal shades which blend together to create a lovely sweep of colour. I don't own any blushers with multi-tonal components and I think it works really well! Not only does the blusher add a little colour to the cheeks, I find it can highlight too, therefore it gives my cheeks a luminous glow. The baked formula means a little goes a long way. I've only had to put a small amount on my brush to achieve my desired look.

The blusher itself is so soft to touch, it has a velvety feel which means it glides onto the skin. It's also extremely pigmented, but also easy to blend, therefore you can build it up if you want to. Finally, I find the longevity of this little blusher amazing. The blusher can last all day and keeps your makeup looking fresh.

I can honestly say that I didn't ever think I'd feel this way about a blusher. I've fallen in love with  this product and I'm sure I'll be back for more. Max Factor seem to be leading the way in the high street with this little blusher, so it'll be interesting to see what other brands come up with.

Have you picked up this blusher?
