BOOTS HAUL

I can't remember the last time I went into Boots randomly and purchased something. I normally always have products that I've read about and researched in my mind when I go in. I went in for one thing - some cotton wool. Seeing the 3 for 2 offer on all makeup I can admit that I got a bit carried away...

One of the first things I picked up was the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush. I've read a lot of reviews on this little beauty but only decided that I wanted to pick it up when I saw it in person. There were so many lovely shades so I wasn't sure which to pick up. I ended up purchasing 20 Lavish Mauve as I love the tones.

I already purchased a Maybelline Colour Drama Velvet Lip Pencil a few months ago and I fell in love. The colour I picked up this time was 520 Light It Up, a bright bold red. It is the boldest red I own and it's a gorgeous colour. There were very few lip pencils left as they had all sold out, but I was originally after a berry colour. I might have to go back for that one!

Another Maybelline product I picked up was Maybelline's Brow Drama. I've only started messing around with my brows this year and before that, I was pretty clueless. However, I saw Brow Drama and thought it could help me out a bit. I picked this up in Medium Brown and I'm excited to give it a try.
I was only going to pick up one of Barry M's Quick Dry nail varnishes to start with I promise. I couldn't decide which one and kept picking one up, putting that down then picking up a different one and in the end I just decided to take advantage of the 3 for 2 offer.

The shades I picked up are all gorgeous pastel shades which are perfect for Spring/Summer. The one I initially fell in love with was Stop the Clock which is the yellow colour as I think it's the only colour nail varnish I never owned or worn in my life. Eat My Dust is the lilac/grey colour and Road Rage is the mint. I can't wait to try these all out.
When I was browsing around Boots, tucked right into the corner almost hidden completely from sight was a clearance section. So I've never seen this section before and I couldn't believe the bargains they had. I did stop myself a little bit because I just started to pick up these just for the fact they were cheap, but here a few goodies I did pick up.

The one thing I was most excited about finding was the makeup brushes. I feel like you can never have a enough brushes so I was really happy to find this Boots Powder Brush for only £1 and the 17 Blusher Brush for 75p. I'm not sure why they were so cheap, but I'm assuming they are discontinued lines. The finally thing I picked up from the clearance section was the Witch Anti-Blemish BB Beauty Balm. I have heard a few things about this brand before, but not an awful lot. I picked this up for only £1 and I can't wait to give it a go.
I was also given a few samples from Estee Lauder. I was given a 10-day sample of the double wear foundation after the lady matched me up. Unfortunately, what I didn't know until I got home was that she matched me up to the completely wrong colour. I'm pale and I'm perfectly happy with that. But everyone wants to match me a few shades darker to give me a 'tan'. I don't want that. I'm happy with my skin.

After that bit of disaster she also gave me Estee Lauder Clear Difference Advanced Blemish Serum and Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Purifying Mask.  I haven't really heard anything about these before, but the lady who gave them me swore by them and really recommended them to me for my skin. I'm excited to see if they made a difference.

What have you picked up from Boots recently?
