AFTERNOON PANCAKES

I've had a bit of a crazy last couple of weeks. After being unemployed for around 2 months, I finally got a job and was loving it, only to be made redundant after just over a month. I only had a weeks notice and began crazily searching for a new job. I had an interview last Saturday and my brother kindly took me out for some tea and cake afterwards. I was planning on cakes, but I saw the pancakes and I couldn't help myself...

We went to a little place called Pudding Pantry. I've walked by it a few times and have always found myself staring in the window looking at all the lovely cakes. Like I said, I was planning on a bit of cake, but I was drawn to the pancakes and all the toppings they had available. I chose peanut butter and salted caramel for my pancakes and a red berry tea. It was delicious. Whilst my brother chose a Guinness and ginger cake, which I was unsure about at the beginning, but after having a little taste, it was actually really nice. I'm sure we'll be returning sometime soon!
