Best of Benefit

Benefit is a brand that I've never really experimented much with. I absolutely adore their Hello Flawless foundation and I have repurchased it many times, but haven't really tried or fallen in love with any other products. My mum saw my eyeing up this set in Boots just before Christmas and bought it for me as a surprise gift! I was so excited to try everything out to see how I got on with it. I normally never get dressed for Christmas Day, but rather stay in my comfy pajamas however, I couldn't wait to try these products out so changed into a dress and did my makeup for dinner..

So what do you receive in the Best of Beneift gift set? Well there's seven samples of Benefits best products. Although I've never had the chance to try most of these before, I've definitely heard about them in the blogging world as they all seem to be insanely popular.

01// POREfessional. This primer has pretty much been everywhere last the couple of years or so making it the best selling primer in the UK for the last three years! It helps minimise the appearance of pores and  makes your make up stay put. I've tried this a few times before, as I seem to keep getting these as samples from magazines or with foundation purchases so I have a few piling up, however this is a 7.5ml sample so is a little bigger!

02// Benetint 4.0 ml. Benefits rose tinted lip and cheek stain has been a favourite in a lot of beauty blogs, however I find it to be my least favourite of the bunch and I've hardly touched it all. Although I want to achieve the rosy glow look, I think the stain element just isn't working for me. I'm not giving up on this just yet though, I am going to make it work!

03// High Beam 4.0ml. From my least favourite of the products to one of my favourites, Benefits highlighter High Beam. This liquid highlighter gives your cheek bones and eyebrow bones a radiant glow. The only highlighter I've ever really used is Seventeens 3 way highlighter and although I loved this at the time, I can definitely see a difference in quality. High Beam really makes a difference to my overall make up look and I can't wait to start using this more this year.

04// Boi-ing. This is probably the product that I've heard the least about, but one I've really loved. I use Seventeen's Phwoarr Paint on a regular basis and I find the two very similar. This concealer sample comes in two different shades, 01 and 02, a darker and lighter shade.

05// Hoola. This  bronzer is another one of my favourite products of the lot. It aims to give you a healthy looking glow, but I mostly use this soft, matte powder for contouring. It's perfect for this. Although I still need a little bit of help with the contouring business, I'm hoping this product will help me get there!

06// They're Real Push Up Liner. This is definitely the product I've been most excited to try. It's a matte gel formula which you can glide along the lash line for the perfect cat flick. I love this eyeliner and I am planning a full review of it sometime this month.

07// They're Real. This mascara really needs no introduction. It's their bestselling mascara and has certainly been blogged about once or twice. Unfortunately, I really don't got on with it. I purchased the full size last year and really wasn't a fan. I will be passing this onto something else.

If you're a fan of Benefit products and looking for a bargain or like me, you want to try out more of what Benefit has to offer but without the expensive, then this is the perfect little set for you. At only £24.50, it was a bargain and definitely worth a try before you buy the full sizes.  I can't seem to find them anywhere online anymore, so I'm assuming they're all sold out.

What is your favourite Benefit product? Have you tried any of these?
