I did a similar post to this last year, but being my favourtie season and a year later, I thought it was time for another. As much as I keeping thinking I've only had this blog for 'around 6 months', it's actually past a year now and I really didn't realise. It seems crazy to me that I've found a hobby I've actually stuck with and generally enjoy and get excited about. I'm looking forward to what's to come..
Onto the post. Here's an updated version about why I love Autumn. Warning, this post may contain generic blogger favourites.
1. Whittards Hot Chocolate
This is something that I only discovered last year and I wish I had known about them sooner. Whittards Hot Chocolate is perfect for the colder months and they have so many delicious flavours to choose from. Their website doesn't seem to have as many flavours as there was last year, but they maybe more instore. They still have some great flavours such as, Caramel, Rocky Road and Strawberry White Chocolate (all here)
2. Scarves and Hats
Scarves and hats are things I love wearing, but obviously there's only a limited number of months you can wear them for. Autumn is the time to stock up as it's going to get colder. I've already got myself a tartan scarf which I didn't manage to get last year. Mine was £5 from Forever 21 and was featured in a recent clothes haul (here
). I'm still on the look out for that perfect beanie, so let me know where to look.
3. Dark Lipstick
I don't know about you, but I love wearing dark lipstick. In the Summer I normally go for bright, pinks but I love getting out the dark berry shades for the colder months. I think they just suit me a lot more and I'm excited to add a few more to my collection over the next few weeks.
I love getting all wrapped up in chunky knitwear. There's something really comforting about a big, chunky knit cardigan, pulling the sleeves over your hands and wrapping up all cosy and warm. I am currently wearing a lovely knitted jumper from Primark with a rabbit on the front. Too early? Maybe, but I sure am cosy.
5. Yankee Candles
I love lighting candles in the evening, but what I love even more is lighting Yankee Candles in the evening. There is always so many different scents to chose from, there is always something for everyone. I am a big fan of the sweeter scents, Strawberry and Salted Caramel are my favourites, but I also love Summer Scoop and Red Velvet.
