I am ashamed to say that I've never really used many products with organic, natural ingredients, especially said products for my body. Thea Skincare
is brand that prides it's self on being just that. All products are vegan friendly and have not been tested on animals, which I know is a constant worry in the beauty blogging world. Aside from that, Thea Skincare comes from a lovely story which you can read about here
, which explains how the natural skincare brand evolved. I had the chance to try two products from the brand, the Lavender Souffle Body Scrub
and the Chocolate, Mint and Kukui Body Creme.
The first thing I have to say about the Lavender Souffle Body Scrub is that it smells divine The lavender scent is long lasting on your body after use and now and again through the day you get a little whiff of it. I love the lavender element as it's a natural calming and soothing scent. As I had never heard of Thea Skincare before, I did not know what to expect from this product, but I genuinely really enjoyed using it. The blend includes Shea Butter, natural oils and sugar grains that gently exfoliates the skin. I have been using Soap and Glorys 'Breakfast Scrub' for quite a while and this is such a brilliant alternative. Not only do I prefer this scent, but it leaves the skin feeling smooth and hydrated.
The Chocolate, Mint and Kukui Body Creme is my favourite of the two products. Once again, the scent shines through. I have never used a product that has used the combination of a chocolate and mint before and I absolutely love it. The smell of this product may not be for everyone as it is quite strong, but it is one I enjoy. The creme contains cocoa butter and peppermint which gives the scent and also Kukui which is a traditional Hawaiian massage oil. The natural and organic creme moisturises and nourishes the skin, leaving your skin feeling soft and silky,
Overall, I am really impressed with these two products and I am pleased I had the chance to try them out. The beautiful scents and the way that it makes my skin feels makes me want to use the products on a regular basis. The organic and natural ingredients is a big plus for me and I definitely will make a conscious effort in the future to use more products like this.
