My Holiday Make Up Bag Essentials

You can't deny the glorious weather we've been having recently and this weather has made me rethink my make up routine. I went on holiday and found myself wearing very little products in the day and night time due to how hot and sunny it was. Nobody likes make up dripping off their face! Although I did wear more make up than this on the holiday, these products were not only nice to wear in the heat, but also don't take up too much space in me make up bag so was perfect to take away with me.

Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser
I think every blogger and their dog has heard of this one. It seems to be quite hit or miss in the blogging world, but I actually really like it. It is so lightweight and most of the time, when I'm having a good skin day I leave the house for the day with just this on. It's really nice to wear and leaves my skin feel really soft and smooth. When I do put a bit of foundation or BB cream on the evening, it sets it into places and keeps my make up from sliding off. I can really tell the difference when it is applied.

Topshop Eyes Woodland Walk
I don't think this item is actually sold anymore. I can't seem to find it on the website, but there may be some left in store. I found this in the corner of one of the Topshop stores in the sale for £3.00. It's a duo palette with a light gold and golden brown. The shimmering light gold is my favourite. Both the shades compliment each other beautifully. In the day time I put the light gold along my eyelids and for the night time, I start to build it up with the golden brown to give my eyes a dramatic, smokey look. I have loved experimenting with this on my holiday.

CID Lip and Cheek Tint
Everyone loves a freebie don't they? Well I particularly love the freebie that was in cosmopolitan this month. This cheek and lip tint is a perfect two in one little tool to take away with you if you're struggling for space in your makeup bag. The face has actually scrubbed off so I'm not entirely sure what this shade is. What I do know is that it's a gorgeous colour. The shade is perfect for subtle daytime wear on the lips and also gives your cheeks a slight blush.

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB
This is something I picked up whilst I away. The hot, sticky weather was getting too much for my foundation in the daytime and needed something light to wear. I'd read some good reviews about this product before I left so when I was in need, I decided to pick it up. I'm really glad I did. It created a natural glow and covered all blemishes without a full face of makeup. I can't recommend enough for the summer.

Seventeen Phwoarr Paint
This heavy duty under eye concealer has been featured on my blog before (here) so I don't want to go into too much  detail about this product. It's my favourite concealer. Although it states it's for under eye I find it does an amazing job covering up blemishes all over the face. On holiday, I sometimes used this concealer followed by the BB cream as my daily face.

Elf Golden Bronzer
This Elf bronzer in Golden may be one of my favourite new purchases. I use this product either to contour or on my cheeks to give them a golden glow. The colours are gorgeous, my favourite being a beautiful rose gold. The shimmery colours give your face a healthy looking glow. The lighter of the shades I love to use as a highlighter. I have used liquid highlighters in the past, but love the finish that the powder gives you. After contouring I like to sweep this colour along the cheekbone.

What are your holiday essentials? Are you going away this year?
