Soap and Glory is a brand I've heard only good things about for many years but, it was only at Christmas and the famous Yule Monty gift set that I had the pleasure of experimenting with the brand. Although some products I was not blown away by, the majority I loved and used frequently. I recently picked up some products for a bargain price of £3 and I am very excited that my collection has expanded with some new products that I haven't tried before.
The Soap and Glory product I was most excited about trying was the The Breakfast Scrub. I've heard a million amazing things about this product and I couldn't wait to try it out for myself. So far I've used this a couple of times and I am really impressed. First lets start with the smell, and oh my, what a gorgeous smell it has. It definitely has a sweet scent with a likeliness to maple syrup with hints of banana. If you're not a fan of sickly (in the nicest way possible) sweet scents then this isn't the product for you, but if you are, then in your in luck. Okay, we get it, it smells great but, does it work? The answer is yes. I've only used it a few times and I love the feel that it gives me skin after use. My skin is softer and smoother and as a body scrub it has definitely made me more confident about my legs. I look forward in using this more in the future.
The second product I managed to get my hands on was Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Plumping Gloss. To be honest this was the product I was least interested in. I have never in my life worn lip gloss and it's never been a product that appealed to me. However, the product did intrigue me. As well as lip glosses, I've never given lip plumping products a chance and maybe that was my scepticism unable to believe the idea that they can actually make your lips bigger. This gloss is clear and having putting it on and my lips looking shiny and feeling sticky for at least five minutes, I had not yet experienced this magical lip plumping. However, after a few more minutes my lips started to seriously tingle and I can genuinely say that my lips looked plumper. It claims that natural plant oil infusion in the product can expand up to 10x in volume when applied to the lips, but, I have not seen this to be case. I'll definitely try this again in the future as I need all the help I can get when it comes to my lips, but I wouldn't splash out on a product like this.
And finally, it's Peaches and Clean. I have actually used a similar product to this quite a lot in the past and it featured in in my January Favourites posts (here). The difference is with this one is that it is a 4-in-1 Deep Cleansing Milk and is a special clogged t-zone formula, but it still has the same lovely peach scent (why do all Soap and Glory products smell so good?!). I have not as yet tried this product, so I can't say much more about it apart from the fact that I'm excited to give this a go.
Have you used any of these Soap and Glory products before? What would you recommend I try next?
