January Favourites.

Hi lovelies! I'm a little late on the favourites this month, however we have finally got there. This month has been definitely about getting back into exams and university after the Christmas period has finished. It's been a hard transition as I am so used to sitting around and doing nothing, getting back into writing essays has not gone very smoothly.

I'd like to start with my beauty favourites and the Soap and Glory, Peaches and Clean. It is a three in one deep purifying cleanser that I received in the 'Yule Monty' gift set that I got for Christmas. I've always been funny about skin care and to be honest except from moisturiser, I never used any skin care products. I've always been pretty happy with my skin and had no problems, therefore, I never wanted to buy anything that would cause problems for it and would happily spend my money somewhere else. However, since I started using this I have felt instant results. Aside from the delicious smell, my skin is left feeling smooth and fresh and it's the only skin product I look forward about using

Next is the Seventeen Stay Time, Long Wear Primer. I have dabbled with primers in the past, but I have never really felt that they made a huge difference to my make up, therefore I never incorporated them into my daily routine. After seeing lots of new little products from Seventeen, with a lovely low price tag I decided to try primers once again. This is the first primer I've used which is actually coloured which made me a little hesitant. I have extremely pale skin therefore it is sometimes difficult for me to get the right shade, however, it glides on perfectly and blends in to my match my skin tone. The primer is described as 'glue' which I find to be completely accurate it has definitely made my make up stay put, especially on nights out!

Finally, the last of the beauty favourites is this Butter London nail polish in Pitter Patter. Originally retailing at £12 I was lucky enough to win this varnish in a competition. I have never owned such an expensive nail varnish but can tell the difference between this and the high street brands I normally wear. This is a deep purple with a slight glittery shimmer, which I absolutely love.

Moving on to the non-beauty favourites. A little late to the party, but I finally understand why people love Whittards hot chocolate so much. I have been drinking this all through January and has been cheering up a miserable cold night. They have such amazing varieties of hot chocolate that I would never think of and now that I have finished the caramel hot chocolate, white chocolate hazelnut is next on my list!

Lastly, Pitch Perfect. I have recently rediscovered my love for this film, I haven't seen it in a while and when my housemate got it on DVD I snuck it into my room for a little film session. Apart from the fact that it's hilarious, the songs are amazing and have found my self youtubing them many of times for a little sing along. If you're feeling down and want a little pick me up, this movie is for you!

Do you own any of these items? What have you been loving this month?
