I can't say October has been a very exciting month for me. I started back at university at the start of the month and my life has consisted of nothing else since. I also put myself on a spending ban for the last couple of months in hope of getting out of my overdraft (the worst invention ever!) and I'm finally well clear. In celebration, I'm going shopping! I'm not sure if this is a good idea or a bad idea, but my wishlist has grown quite long and I'm hoping to buy some new Winter knits. Here are some of my favourite things from the month of October..
1. L'Occitane Divine Cream.
Due to my spending ban, I wanted to start using the products that I already had instead of going out and buying some more, which brings me on to discovering this beauty. I won this 15ml jar in a competition last Christmas and have only just started using it. It's an anti-ageing cream and straight away I wrote it off with the idea that I didn't need anti-ageing cream because I have only just turned twenty-one. However, after wearing it a few times, I fell in love with it. It makes my skin feel so smooth and silky and smells beautiful.
2. H&M Coat
I bought this coat at the start of September, ready for the colder months that I had ahead of me. It's a biker style jacket, the main part being grey fabric with an added detail of leather sleeves. The sleeves are padded, so gives off a cosy feel and keeps me so warm! It cost me £35 from H&M which I think is brilliant compared to other coat prices, as Primark coats are around a similar mark now days and this one is such good quality. I feel like it will be getting a lot of wear this Winter.
I got Flowerbomb by Vicktor and Rolf for my birthday after lusting after it for ages. I was constantly trying to find and order samples of it before I owned it and I am so thankful that I finally got my hands on it. It's absolutely my favourite perfume that I own. It smells divine and has a fantastic staying power, I can put it on in the morning and can still smell the sweet scent for the rest of the day without reapplying. I have had so many compliments on it, with even one lady claiming I smelt like Parma Violets! I'm not sure how I feel about this..
What have been your favourite things in October? Do you own any of these items?
